Tripleguns was involved in the stage and live production of Anime Festival Asia Indonesia 2026 (AFAID26), held on 15–16 August 2026 at Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), BSD City.
Anime Festival Asia (AFA) is one of Southeast Asia’s leading Japanese pop culture events, bringing together anime, music, creators, cosplay and other forms of Japanese entertainment across markets including Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Hong Kong.
The 2026 Indonesia edition was held under the theme “Celebrate the Magic of Japan Pop Culture!”, featuring the Exhibition Zone, AFA Next Stage, concerts and a wide range of Japanese content throughout the two-day event.
AFAID26 Music Fest Featuring Japanese Artists
The AFAID26 Music Fest, held on 15 August, featured five Japanese artists:

Bringing together artists closely connected with anime and gaming culture, the concert delivered Japanese live music and entertainment directly to audiences in Indonesia.
Stage Production for Large-Scale International Events
Large-scale international events such as AFA require a different level of production coordination from a standalone concert.
Each artist may have different technical riders, equipment requirements and stage setups, while changeovers must be completed within limited timeframes. At the same time, Japanese production teams, local organisers, venues and technical crews need to communicate clearly and efficiently throughout the event.
Tripleguns supports this process by understanding the creative and technical requirements of Japanese artists and acting as a bridge with local audio, lighting, video and stage teams.
Our aim is to create a production environment in which Japanese artists can focus on delivering their performance, while local teams receive the information and coordination needed to operate smoothly on site.
