“Anime Festival Asia Thailand 2026″Stage Production

Tripleguns provided stage production and on-site production support for Anime Festival Asia Thailand 2026, held in Bangkok, Thailand.

Anime Festival Asia, also known as AFA, is one of Southeast Asia’s leading Japanese pop culture events. The event showcases a wide range of Japanese entertainment, including anime, music, games, cosplay, voice actors, artist performances and live stage programmes.

Anime Festival Asia Thailand 2026 took place on 30 and 31 May 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, QSNCC, in Bangkok.

For this project, Tripleguns supported communication and coordination between the Japanese-side team, the organiser, the local venue and technical teams. Our role covered stage production, production coordination, technical communication and on-site support to help ensure a smooth stage operation.

Scope of Work

For this project, Tripleguns supported the following areas:

・Stage production
・On-site production coordination
・Communication between the Japanese-side team, local organiser and technical teams
・Production checks for performers and related parties
・Coordination of timetables, rehearsals and live show flow
・Confirmation of sound, lighting, video and stage requirements
・On-site stage operation support
・Stage management support
・On-site troubleshooting and coordination

※The above scope can be adjusted depending on the confirmed project details.

Project Features

This event required close coordination between the organiser, local venue, technical teams and Japanese-side stakeholders in order to bring Japanese artists and content to audiences in Thailand.

Stage production for overseas events involves more than simply managing the show day.

Each performer may have different technical requirements. Sound, lighting, video, rehearsal time, changeover time, venue facilities, local crew responsibilities and language differences all need to be checked and organised in advance.

Tripleguns used its experience in Japanese artist shows, anime events, festivals and exhibition-related projects across Asia to help bridge the gap between the quality expected by the Japanese-side team and the production conditions available locally.

Anime Festival Asia Related Experience

Tripleguns has previously worked on Anime Festival Asia related projects, including Anime Festival Asia Singapore and Anime Festival Asia Indonesia.

Through these projects, we have supported stage production for Japanese pop culture events, Japanese artist performances, anisong live shows, voice actor appearances and festival-style events across Asia.

For Anime Festival Asia Thailand 2026, Tripleguns applied the production knowledge gained through previous AFA-related projects to support the event from the on-site production side in Bangkok.

Tripleguns’ Role in Overseas Stage Production

When Japanese artists and content are presented overseas, it is essential to translate the Japanese-side production requirements into a format that works within the local venue, technical environment and production structure.

Tripleguns supports this process by working between the Japanese-side team and local partners.

Our areas of support include:

・Production management for overseas concerts, festivals and events
・Overseas live production for Japanese artists
・Coordination with local promoters, venues and technical teams
・Advance checks for stage, sound, lighting, video and power requirements
・Rehearsal, show day and stage operation support
・Production communication in Japanese and English
・On-site production support across Asia, Europe and the United States

Our role is to help create an environment where artists and performers can step onto the stage with confidence, even when the country, venue and production conditions are different from those in Japan.
