Tripleguns was involved in the production of TOGENASHI TOGEARI “Rinne no Kotowari” IN JAKARTA, held on 16 August 2026 at Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), BSD City, near Jakarta.
TOGENASHI TOGEARI, also known as TogeToge, is a five-member Japanese girls band formed through the anime series GIRLS BAND CRY.
On the evening of 16 August, the second day of Anime Festival Asia Indonesia 2026 (AFAID26), TOGENASHI TOGEARI performed a standalone special concert, separate from the multi-artist AFAID26 Music Fest held the previous day.
The concert was presented by AFA as its Sunday Night Concert, giving fans the opportunity to experience a full live performance dedicated to a single artist.
From AFA to Standalone Concerts for Japanese Artists
At Anime Festival Asia Indonesia, live music has become an important part of the event alongside anime, games, cosplay, creators and other areas of Japanese pop culture.
In recent years, AFA Indonesia has expanded its music programming beyond multi-artist festival concerts by combining them with special concerts focusing on a particular artist, project or body of work.
In 2025, Saturday featured the multi-artist I LOVE ANISONG concert, while Sunday presented The Music of STUDIO GHIBLI Original Singers Symphony, a special concert dedicated to the music of Studio Ghibli.
Tripleguns was also involved in AFA Indonesia 2025.
A Platform for Full-Scale Japanese Live Performances
In 2026, the Saturday programme featured AFAID26 Music Fest, with performances by ASCA, BACK-ON, Isekaijoucho, kz (livetune) and SPYAIR.
The following evening, TOGENASHI TOGEARI “Rinne no Kotowari” IN JAKARTA was presented as a standalone concert.
By combining festival-style concerts, where audiences can discover a variety of Japanese music, with special concerts that offer a deeper experience centred around a single artist or project, AFA Indonesia is evolving from a place to experience Japanese pop culture into a platform for full-scale live performances by Japanese artists.
With an audience already highly engaged with Japanese anime and music, AFA also provides artists with an opportunity to connect directly with international fans and potentially build towards future standalone concerts, Asia tours and wider international activities.
