Tripleguns took part in the first Mirai Stage Program held at the great hall of Toda City Culture Hall on the weekend of 13 – 14 June, 2026 as a corporate sponsor, in wholehearted support of the program’s main objective.
The program allowed junior high and high school students to experience what on-site work as backstage support in a live show or stage performance is really like. Through a collaboration with the dance show Fractalia, they learned more about the different aspects of a live show, such as audio, lighting, videos, stage management, and stage production – background elements that spectators don’t usually get to see from their seats.
Besides taking part as a corporate sponsor, Tripleguns was also present backstage during the program as stage management.
We managed minute but essential parts of the production like stage timing, stage support, and the flow of performers so as to give them the confidence needed to give their all on stage. After all, every successful performance is built on a solid foundation of professional backstage support. This can be in the areas of audio, lighting, videos, stage management, stage production, roadies, cameras, photography, archival, or manipulators, just to name a few.
During the program, the students from Saitama were able to go up-close and see for themselves what live production, stage management, stage direction, choreography, sound, lighting, and video professionals do backstage that is usually hidden from the public eye.
The expressions on the student’s faces, as they took in the rows of equipment and listened to the dialogue between staff members, spoke volumes about the astonishment and fascination they clearly felt toward backstage work.
Tripleguns has a stellar track record in managing stage production and on-site support for Japanese artists and companies seeking to expand their presence overseas, whether through concerts, events, or exhibitions. Our experience has taught us that live entertainment opens up a whole new world of roles and possibilities for students that they may not be able to explore with school textbooks alone.
Although backstage work is seldom visible, it is nevertheless an essential work that supports the performers and helps to create touching moments that make the audience’s day.

We do hope the Mirai Stage Program has broadened the horizons of student participants and opened up new possibilities in their minds to stage-related work.
Tripleguns will continue to proactively take part in activities such as these to keep promoting the appeal of the live entertainment industry to the next generation.
